A snake biting its own tail continually reborn as it sheds its skin, the Ouroboros depicts the harmony of opposites through this infinite cycle of life and death. Worn as a purifying totem, this cycle of continuous renewal and the eternal unity of all things into a place where release and liberation are sought. A powerful symbol unifying opposites, like our conscious and unconscious minds. The Ouroboros reminds us of the dual nature of all things, but more importantly, that these opposites are not in conflict. The idea of 'one is all’.

Oxidation is a darkening process which creates an aged affect. Levels of darkness can range from light gray to deep black. It is not a permanent treatment and is expected to wear over time. While we love the shifting quality of oxidation, we can of course re-oxidize any design. Contact the studio for more details. We advise allowing Oxidized Sterling Silver to weather and wear naturally. Avoid polishing cloths, solutions or compounds.
Also available in 18k Rose, Yellow and White Gold or Platinum. Contact us for details.
