Our Cutout Tudor Rose Earring was inspired by one of the most distinctive and unmistakable flowers in England. Representing the unification of two warring houses, and the end of years of civil conflict. King Henry VII secured the succession and cemented his rather tenuous claim to the throne by marrying Elizabeth of York. At that time, King Henry VII introduced the Tudor Rose, which combined the red rose of Lancaster with the white rose of York, as a symbol of peace and unity.
