An ancient Egyptian emblem depicting a serpent eating its own tail, the Ouroboros is the alchemic symbol of eternal renewal, the perpetual cycle of life, death, and rebirth. The unity of all things into a space where release and liberation are simultaneously achieved. Worn as a purifying totem that unites opposites - like our conscious and unconscious minds. Reminding us of the dual nature of all things, but more importantly, that these opposites are not in conflict, but one-in-the-same.

Oxidation is a darkening process which creates an aged affect. Levels of darkness can range from light gray to deep black. It is not a permanent treatment and is expected to wear over time. While we love the shifting quality of oxidation, we can of course re-oxidize any design. Contact the studio for more details. We advise allowing Oxidized Sterling Silver to weather and wear naturally. Avoid polishing cloths, solutions or compounds.
